andy_elkind1 Andy Elkind has more than 25 years of experience in helping leaders, teams, and organizations to perform at their best and achieve their most important goals.  He has a unique ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization: he helps senior-level executives to define strategic goals and then assures successful execution by engaging employees on the front line through effective communication, training, and performance management.

As a leadership coach, Andy works with global executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs who need to manage conflict productively, improve their interpersonal communication skills, and implement major strategic initiatives and organizational changes.  He also supports mid-level and emerging leaders who need to develop additional skills so they can assume greater responsibilities and take on more senior roles.

As a learning and organization development consultant, Andy works with organizations that need to implement strategic sales and service initiatives.  He has designed and taught effective training and coaching programs at leading companies in industries ranging from technology and telecommunications to pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, insurance, banking and financial services, travel and hospitality, and consumer products.  Andy is highly skilled at helping managers at all levels to become more effective coaches, and in developing service managers into successful sales leaders.  Clients appreciate Andy’s ability to get to the heart of a performance issue and to design and put into place solutions that create and sustain significant organizational change.

Andy co-authored Service To Sales: Changing Culture and Mindset in Your Call Center (Noble Dog Press, 2007).  He also is a contributing writer to many internet and nationally syndicated publications.

Andy served as President of the Board of Directors of JVS, a highly regarded nonprofit organization that provides individuals and companies with the skills needed for success in today’s workplace.

Andy earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude in Philosophy and Psychology from Yale University.  He earned his Master’s Degree in Organization Management and Development and a certificate in Evidence Based Coaching at Fielding Graduate University.  Andy holds an Associate Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation.
